Law Firm is seeking a Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney with 2-3 years of experience to join our Atlanta office. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated and professional individual with strong interpersonal skills to work with a diverse range of clients, attorneys, and staff. The successful candidate must have a Georgia State Bar License and a JD degree from an ABA accredited law school. Candidates with at least a year of defense experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities:
- Work with an experienced partner/mentor to represent corporate and insurer clients on workers’ compensation claims
- Evaluate and advise clients on pertinent issues and the optimum path to resolve claims
- Represent clients in litigation by appearing at hearings, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, and other proceedings
- Communicate with client representatives and claims representatives
- Prepare reports required by the client
- Prepare motions and briefs to support the position of the client
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of the client

Requirements:
- 2-3 years of workers’ compensation defense experience preferred
- Top quality writing skills with strong academic credentials
- Georgia State Bar License and a JD degree from an ABA accredited law school
