Job Summary:

The Associate Attorney will be responsible for managing a full caseload of workers' compensation cases, including evaluating the merits of the case, providing guidance and counsel to clients, conducting discovery, and negotiating and litigating cases if necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

- Manage a full caseload of workers' compensation cases of varying complexity
- Create litigation plans and budget plans as needed
- Conduct discovery and travel to court and other appearances
- Try cases while maintaining exceptional client interaction
- Compose legal documents such as motions, briefs, and correspondence
- Prepare cases for trial
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties
- Utilize strong negotiation and communication skills
- Have at least 5 years of experience in workers' compensation defense
