Duties

  • Manage personal injury case files from initial client contact through resolution.
  • Review medical records, draft complaints, and respond to discovery requests.
  • Take depositions of clients, expert witnesses, fact witnesses, and medical providers.
  • Draft motions, demand letters, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Argue motions related to discovery and dispositive matters in court.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze medical terminology relevant to cases.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, medical professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Update case files in the management system to reflect the latest developments.
  • Collaborate closely with paralegals and other team members on case preparation.
  • Handle special projects and duties as assigned by senior attorneys.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 0-7 years of experience in personal injury litigation, including product liability, auto accidents, negligence, and related matters, and sexual abuse and toxic torts.
  • Strong understanding of personal injury law, tort law, and medical terminology.
  • Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for client interaction and coordination with witnesses.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active Pennsylvania Bar license in good standing.
