We are currently seeking a Legal Counsel M&A to join our Finance department in Boston, Massachusetts. This is a great opportunity for an experienced M&A attorney to be on the front-line of multi-billion-dollar M&A deals and have more autonomy than traditional M&A positions. The attorney will oversee all aspects of acquisition, divestiture, and joint venture transactions, working closely with VPs to Executives and engaging with various in-house departments and external legal counsels.

Responsibilities:

- Provide support for all aspects of M&A activity
- Conduct legal due diligence on target companies
- Collaborate with international law firms on cross border M&A deals
- Work with in-house departments such as tax, finance, accounting, HR, legal, and IT
- Review the work of outside M&A counsels

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (JD) and admitted to at least 1 state bar
- 5+ years of legal experience as an M&A attorney at a top US law firm
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to interact with senior executives, transaction counterparties, and external advisors
- International mindset and experience working across borders
