Job Title: Tax Partner - Family Office - High Net Worth

Job Responsibilities:
The Tax Partner in the Family Office - High Net Worth division is responsible for providing compliance and consulting services to high net worth multi-generational families, their private businesses, investment entities, and family offices. The role involves using expertise in taxation to address the unique needs of family office/high net worth clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging in tax consulting for family office/high net worth clients, employing analytical skills for effective diagnosis, development, and implementation of solutions to clients' tax needs.
- Developing and pursuing creative approaches to resolve client issues with the support of the company.
- Reviewing tax returns for wealthy family members, their trusts, investment entities, and private businesses across various industries such as Private Equity, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Real Estate, Wholesale Distribution, Service, Retail, and Restaurants.
- Supporting financial growth efforts and managing a book of business.
- Planning client engagements, providing tax consulting services, managing compliance projects, and supervising and reviewing the work of team staff members.
- Working closely with clients, internal managers, and partners to ensure exceptional client service and communication.
- Articulating complex information and tax law effectively through strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Developing and maintaining outstanding client relationships.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting with CPA License or JD is required.
- Candidates must have 12+ years of continuous public accounting or family office tax experience.
- Strong experience with high net worth clients is essential, covering personal taxation, trust taxation, estate & gift taxation, charitable taxation, and exposure to flow-through entities, partnership taxation, and corporate taxation, including State & Local income (SALT)/Franchise tax for multi-state filers.
- Experience in reviewing tax returns for wealthy family members, trusts, investment entities, and private businesses is required. Exposure to business returns is a plus but not mandatory.
- Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree in Taxation or Law Degree, experience working for a Big 4 or large national, regional, or local accounting firm, experience working with Private Foundations, and exposure to reporting and filings related to foreign assets, investments, and holdings.
- Proven ability to develop new business relationships and expand services to existing clients is advantageous.
