Tax Senior - Financial Services - Mutual Fund Tax (East Region City Locations)
Overview:
- Tax Senior position with a focus on financial services and mutual fund tax in various locations across the East Region

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide tax compliance and consulting services to Investment Management clients
- Identify complex tax issues and provide tax analyses for a variety of entities and their affiliates
- Perform detail-level reviews of tax research, regulated investment company (RIC) tax work papers, financial statement provisions and related tax disclosures and federal and relevant state returns, excise calculations, and RIC compliance tests
- Perform tax planning and supervise tax consultants
- Attend required training programs specific to the Investment Management industry

- Comprised of over 1,400 partners, principals, and employees providing a spectrum of tax services to a broad range of Investment Management companies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field
- 3+ years of experience providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work papers and income tax returns
- Basic understanding of Subchapter M, financial products, and book to tax adjustments common to regulated investment companies
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on the work and clients served
- Active accreditation such as CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, CFA, or CFP
- Preferred: Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, and/or LLM; previous Big 4 or large CPA firm experience; experience working in a fast-paced, team environment; strong verbal and written communication skills
Salary Information:
- Wage range: $63,420 to $144,300, taking into account factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs
- Eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program based on individual and organizational performance
