Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of Non-Judicial Foreclosure process, from referral to sale.
- Oversee routine and non-routine litigation arising from Replevin process.
- Handle pre-litigation cases and assist with clearing title to real property.
- Prepare analysis of cases and advise clients on strategies.
- Draft court pleadings and motions.
- Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Quick problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's Degree and Juris Doctorate from accredited law school.
- Licensed member of the Mississippi State Bar, meeting all necessary licensing and continuing legal education requirements.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Mississippi creditors' rights, real estate, or mortgage servicing.
- Knowledge of foreclosure and replevin processes preferred.
- Familiarity with consumer protection statutes, such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, a plus.
- Experience managing large caseloads.
