Job Responsibilities:
The Manager, Talent Solutions (Support Staffing) is tasked with a variety of responsibilities centered around the recruitment and development of legal professionals. Key duties include:
- Recruiting, screening, interviewing, and vetting candidates for legal non-attorney professional roles.
- Building and maintaining candidate rosters and networks within the legal community.
- Collaborating with the Client Solutions team to fulfill client orders effectively.
- Developing a pipeline of specialized legal professionals based on market demand.
- Validating candidate skills, experience, and professionalism, ensuring they meet client requirements.
- Strategizing with New Business and Client Solutions teams to understand and meet client needs.
- Interacting with executives in corporate legal departments and law firms to present suitable candidates.
- Managing and nurturing existing candidate relationships by staying informed about the legal job market and client environments.
- Supporting New Business and Client Solutions teams to deliver high-quality service to clients.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients regarding the legal talent community and job market.
- Matching candidates to client requirements and presenting them to various teams, including Sales Reps and New Business teams.
- Preparing candidates for client interviews and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Maintaining active relationships with candidates, both on and off assignments, through regular communication.
- Documenting all activities in the Candidate ATS (Bullhorn).
- Professionally developing working candidates via regular check-ins.
- Adhering to the company’s policies and proactively managing deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrating sound business judgment and handling multiple tasks with conflicting deadlines.
- Fostering teamwork and collaboration with teammates and cross-functional partners.
- Exhibiting strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Continuously learning and adapting to new tools and technologies.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Information:
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree is required, with a Juris Doctor (.) being highly preferred.
- Experience: Candidates should have 3-5 years of legal experience, which may include work with a large firm, in-house positions, or as a consultant in the legal services industry. Prior experience in legal recruiting is highly preferred.
- Skills: The role requires the ability to assess talent, manage multiple priorities with attention to detail, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with recruiting and familiarity with Bullhorn or similar Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is also preferred.
