Job Title: 2026 2L Intellectual Property Summer Associate

Job Responsibilities:
The 2L Intellectual Property Summer Associate will engage in a variety of tasks aimed at providing a comprehensive experience in the field of IP Litigation. Responsibilities include:
- Participating in several projects across different practice areas within the law firm.
- Observing and assisting in legal proceedings such as trials, hearings, depositions, and negotiations.
- Attending and contributing to client meetings and closings.
- Engaging in substantive and challenging work assignments, including Pro Bono matters.
- Receiving mentoring from partners and associates, and participating in interactive training workshops, including M&A and deposition skills.
- Networking at various social events to build professional relationships.
- Developing writing skills through training and receiving guidance and detailed feedback on work products.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must be rising second-year law students who will graduate between December 2026 and June 2027. The following educational qualifications are preferred:
- Law students with outstanding academic credentials.
- Superior writing skills.
- Membership in Law Review, Journal, or Moot Court.
- Specific educational backgrounds depending on the office location:
- New York: Undergraduate and/or graduate degrees in life or physical sciences (., chemistry, biology, biochemistry, engineering, or similar).
- Chicago, Palo Alto & Washington .: Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.

Salary Information:
The salary wage for the 2L Intellectual Property Summer Associate position is $4,327 per week.
