A nationally recognized personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join its St. Louis, MO office. This full-time role is ideal for a motivated legal professional with at least five years of experience in personal injury law, particularly motor vehicle accident cases. The position involves independently managing cases from intake through resolution, overseeing support staff, and coordinating remotely with team members in other locations. Strong litigation, negotiation, and case management skills are essential.

Location:

  • St. Louis, MO

Duties:

  • Handle personal injury cases from inception to closure, primarily involving motor vehicle accidents

  • Negotiate and settle cases in the pre-litigation stage

  • Review insurance policies, claims, and related records

  • Draft and argue legal documents as necessary

  • Direct and manage discovery, including medical records review

  • Supervise and coordinate with legal staff, including paralegals and case managers

  • Track deadlines and ensure compliance with statutes of limitations

  • Communicate with clients and provide consistent case updates

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience handling personal injury cases

  • Proven ability to manage all phases of litigation and pre-litigation independently

  • Strong leadership and case management skills

  • Ability to collaborate with a distributed legal team

  • Willingness to travel occasionally

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the State of Missouri

  • Member in good standing with the Missouri State Bar

Skills:
