Eligibility
The Summer Associate role is designed for candidates who are expected to graduate from law school with a Juris Doctor in 2027. Submissions from other candidates for this position will not be accepted.
Job Responsibilities
As a participant in the national Summer Associate Program at the law firm, associates will experience:
- Personalized mentorship and skill development through collaboration with different practices
- Practical experience by shadowing or working with top industry leaders
- Participation in a variety of interesting client projects and extracurricular events
- Integration into the law firm’s culture and becoming familiar with the associate lifestyle
- Access to the law firm’s extensive network of professionals across all offices
Education and Experience Information
Candidates must be second-year law students to be considered for the 2026 Summer Associate Program. The law firm is particularly interested in meeting candidates with diverse backgrounds, especially those from underserved or historically underrepresented communities. Candidates should possess:
- Professional experience, preferably in one of the law firm's core industry sectors
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- A strong academic portfolio
- Leadership qualities with a positive vision for the future of the legal industry
- A collaborative spirit that values diverse perspectives
- A drive for lifelong learning and curiosity
Salary Information
The expected salary for the summer associate position in 2026 is $4, per week. This amount is subject to change at any time at the law firm’s sole discretion.

If the law firm does not recruit on-campus at a particular law school, candidates are encouraged to apply through the online application portal. Required application materials include a cover letter, résumé, unofficial copy of the law school transcript, and a two-to-three-page writing sample from academic or work experience for which the candidate is the sole author.
