Job Title: Senior Manager, M&A Tax

Job Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on a comprehensive range of corporate tax services, including planning, research, and various mergers and acquisitions activities.
- Collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver due diligence and tax structuring services, while effectively communicating findings and opportunities to clients.
- Partner with and support other senior members of the M&A Tax practice in addressing various technical tax issues related to consolidated returns, S Corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and LLPs.
- Assist clients with current issues such as bankruptcy emergence planning, out-of-court workouts, debt restructurings, tax basis, earnings and profits, and section 382 studies.
- Develop, motivate, and train staff and manager-level team members.
- Maintain integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold a respectful and courteous work environment.

Education and Experience Information:
- Minimum of eight years of recent experience in federal tax and/or mergers and acquisition in a public accounting firm, corporate tax department, or law firm.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
- Possession of a licensed CPA, JD/LLM, or Enrolled Agent credential, in addition to others on the company's approved credential listing. Individuals who do not possess at least one approved designation/credential when employment commences have one year from their date of hire to obtain one. A recruiter can provide the complete list of currently approved designations/credentials for the hiring practice/service line.
- Knowledge of a broad range of corporate tax matters across various industries.
- Capability to manage multiple engagements and client service teams.
- Excellent research and writing skills.

Salary Information:
- The company complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges. The salary ranges for potential hires working in the specified locations are determined based on relevant factors such as applicant's skills, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and market considerations.

- Depending on job classification, standard work hours, and years of service, the company provides Personal Time Off per fiscal year. - For specific salary ranges by city outside of California, a link is provided. The salary range for California is $161,700 - $356,100.
