Tax Senior Manager - Personal Financial Services
Job Responsibilities:
A career in the Personal Financial Service practice within the company’s Private division offers the opportunity to assist private companies with various business advisory needs. These include audit, tax compliance, and planning aimed at improving operational efficiency and allowing focus on business strategy. The role involves experiencing the business life cycle of a private company from inception through growth, maturity, and transition. The team develops, designs, and implements plans to help clients achieve personal wealth goals and ensure maintenance for future generations. Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing tax efficiencies related to income tax, investment, insurance, risk, and lifestyle investments planning.
- Encouraging team participation and fostering an inclusive environment.
- Addressing ambiguous and unstructured problems with effective solutions.
- Engaging in open and candid coaching conversations.
- Balancing big picture thinking with detailed management.
- Anticipating stakeholder needs and developing solutions proactively.

The role is also focused on assisting High Net Worth Individuals and private wealth management structures with advisory needs, including audit, tax compliance, and planning to enhance operational efficiency and focus on personal wealth strategy.
Education and Experience Information:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
- Required Fields of Study: Accounting
- Minimum Years of Experience: 6 years
- Certification(s) Required: CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrates intimate-level abilities and/or proven success as a team leader in consulting with high net worth individuals in areas such as financial planning, wealth transfer planning, and business succession planning or trust and estate work.
- Possesses comprehensive technical skills with Form 1040 for High Net Worth individuals and Form K1 production and compliance.
- Experience in identifying and addressing client needs.
- Ability to lead as a business advisor, including developing new relationships and selling new services with a "One Firm" service mindset.
- Familiarity with a CRM system.
- Knowledge of automation and digitization in a professional services environment.
- Experience working with large, complex data sets to build models, leverage data visualization tools, and provide insights to clients.
- Utilization of digitization tools to optimize engagements and advance pricing strategies through alternative fee arrangements.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $119,300 - $328,000, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
