Director, Global Transaction Tax (State & Local Tax) needed for a unique opportunity at A&M, a firm that celebrates independent thinkers and doers. In this role, you will provide practical tax advice to corporate and private equity clients throughout the transaction life cycle, while working alongside professionals with deep operational and financial experience.
Responsibilities include performing due diligence, reviewing tax aspects of financial models and purchase agreements, and drafting reports summarizing tax issues. You will also have the opportunity to identify and pursue new business development opportunities, oversee and mentor a team, and manage client relationships.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance, and at least 7 years of relevant experience in a mergers & acquisitions tax practice. Thorough knowledge of federal and state income tax, non-income tax, and unclaimed property issues is required. Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a dynamic and time-sensitive environment, are also necessary.
A&M offers a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare plans, a 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off. The salary range for this position is $165,000 - $200,000 annually, with the potential for a discretionary bonus based on individual and firm performance.
