Job Responsibilities:
- Work on challenging projects in a variety of legal practice areas under the supervision of the firm's attorneys.
- Conduct legal research.
- Support attorneys in preparing for client meetings and court proceedings.
- Draft legal memos, documents, and briefs.
- Attend spectator events such as client meetings and court proceedings with firm attorneys.
- Attend firm-wide events, practice group meetings, and training programs.
- Participate in mentor/mentee team meetings.
- Attend social events designed to help associates get to know the firm and its members.
- Contribute to pro bono projects and community service initiatives.
Education and Experience Information:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited law school, having completed one year of study.
- Strong academic record, with a preference for candidates in the top 20% of their law school class.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and privileged information with discretion.
