Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Partner to join its dynamic team in Nevada. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in Labor & Employment law, managing complex cases, and leading teams. Location:

  • Las Vegas, Nevada

Duties:

  • Manage and oversee a variety of complex Labor & Employment matters, particularly in employment defense and commercial litigation.
  • Lead and mentor a team of attorneys and support staff.
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients on labor-related legal matters.
  • Represent clients in litigation, including employment disputes and workplace issues.
  • Develop and implement litigation strategies and risk management plans.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, and actively seek new business opportunities.
  • Keep up to date with evolving labor laws, employment regulations, and legal trends.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Labor & Employment law, with a strong focus on employment defense and commercial litigation.
  • In-depth knowledge of Labor & Employment law and a broader understanding of commercial litigation.
  • Proven ability to manage complex legal matters and teams effectively.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining high standards of client service.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to practice law in Nevada.

Skills:

  • Expertise in Labor & Employment law and commercial litigation.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to develop effective legal strategies and business solutions.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and client-focused approach.
