Role and Responsibilities:

As the California Government Affairs & Policy Leader, you will be responsible for leading **Members Only**'s policy team and advocating for clean energy policy frameworks in California. Your role will involve working with regulatory and marketing teams to develop and manage legislative strategies, monitor state agency developments, and support legislative and regulatory advocacy activities in California. You will also collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to identify business opportunities and mitigate risks.

Skills and Experience:

• Advanced degree in economics, policy, or law preferred
• At least 12 years of experience with the state legislature, with a strong focus on California energy policy
• Proven experience working for or with the state legislature, governor's office, and regulatory commissions
• Familiarity with California agencies, utilities, and entities
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical policy points
• Strong analytical ability and the ability to summarize technical information
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Passion for driving clean energy policy

Salary Information:

The salary range for this position is $228, - $328,.
