Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and provide legal advice to clients
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
Represent clients in court hearings and trials
Attend depositions and conduct witness interviews
Work closely with partners and senior associates on complex litigation matters
Communicate with clients and provide updates on case status and developments
Assist with case strategy and management
Attend continuing legal education courses to stay current on legal developments

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in civil and general litigation
Experience in auto negligence, premises liability or general negligence matters, and general insurance liability
Deposition experience
Excellent research, legal brief writing and communication skills are required
Experience writing and arguing motions in court
Experience drafting and responding to discovery requests
General understanding of medical records
Working knowledge of Michigan Court Rules and Rules of Evidence
Working knowledge of Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence
