Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in commercial and construction litigation matters, including hearings and depositions.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions and court appearances.
  • Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients in mediations and other forums.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff on case management.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Build and maintain client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives and business development efforts.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Florida.
  • 2+ years of experience in construction and commercial litigation.
  • Strong academic background with an emphasis on relevant coursework.
  • Hearing and deposition experience is preferred.
