Duties:
- Advise and represent clients in a range of immigration matters, ensuring compliance with current laws and regulations.
- Prepare and file various immigration petitions and applications, including work visas (H-1B, L-1), PERM labor certifications, and other business immigration processes.
- Handle complex cases, including appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA).
- Draft legal documents and correspondence with a high degree of accuracy and clarity.
- Work collaboratively with the legal team while also managing cases independently.
- Provide legal counsel to clients from a variety of industries, particularly tech and healthcare, on immigration matters.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and integrity.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in immigration law and policy.
Requirements:
- Proven experience handling complex immigration cases, including BIA appeals.
- Familiarity with business immigration, including H-1B, L-1 visas, PERM labor certification, and corporate compliance.
- Experience working with clients in specialized industries such as technology and healthcare.
- Ability to handle a high caseload in a fast-paced law firm or corporate legal environment.
- Strong analytical, research, and legal writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
