Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join its prominent plaintiff-side employment litigation practice. This position offers the opportunity to engage in complex and high-impact cases on a national level, including class actions, whistleblower claims, and employment contract disputes. The ideal candidate is eager to take on significant responsibility, collaborate closely with clients, and excel in all aspects of litigation.

Duties:

  • Draft legal documents, including briefs, discovery responses, and motions.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on employment law matters.
  • Represent clients in various litigation stages, including:
    • Employment contract negotiations
    • Wrongful termination cases
    • Class action lawsuits
    • Whistleblower claims under the False Claims Act
  • Defend depositions and argue motions in both state and federal courts.
  • Maintain direct communication with clients to provide updates and address concerns.
  • Manage complex case files with attention to detail and strategy.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality results in a team-oriented environment.
  • Stay updated on evolving employment laws and related regulations.

Requirements:

  • Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • High level of initiative, judgment, and professionalism.
  • Litigation experience is required; employment law experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in at least one . jurisdiction.

Skills:
