Duties:
- Provide strategic legal advice and representation to clients on data privacy and cybersecurity issues.
- Lead and manage complex breach response efforts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Develop and implement proactive data privacy strategies and policies for clients.
- Conduct risk assessments and advise on data protection measures.
- Negotiate and draft contracts related to data privacy and cybersecurity.
Requirements:
- Significant relevant experience in data privacy and cybersecurity law, preferably in a law firm setting.
- Proven track record in handling breach response and data privacy counseling.
- Strong academic credentials, including a Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar of Michigan or eligible for admission by waiver.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
