Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an experienced attorney for a full-time position with hybrid work flexibility, based in Farmingdale, New York. The role offers an opportunity to manage a balanced caseload while benefiting from the firm’s cutting-edge facilities and innovative systems that streamline case management.

Duties:

• Represent clients in insurance defense and personal injury matters.
• Manage an individual caseload, ensuring each case is handled effectively and efficiently.
• Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to clients on a variety of cases.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials as required.
• Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to resolve legal issues.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting cases.
• Collaborate with the legal team to enhance firm processes and client outcomes.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in insurance defense or personal injury law.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
• Familiarity with New York State laws and court procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar is required.
