Conducting audits of employer practices, including wage and hour policies and procedures;
Drafting and revising incentive compensation documents, including commission and bonus plans;
Drafting and revising policies, handbooks and other employee communication documents so that employees can easily understand what is expected of them;
Explaining complex employment law issues in a way that can be understandable to a range of audiences;
Identifying various problem-solving options, including the pros and cons of each option, so that clients can choose the practical and legal solution that works best for them.

Skills and Educational Requirements:

JD from ABA-accredited law school
Admitted to the CA State Bar and in good standing
7+ years of relevant experience
Knowledge of federal, state, and local workplace and employment law a plus
Understanding of current agency (state and federal) enforcement techniques a plus
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience conducting trainings or workplace investigations preferred, but not required.
