This fellowship provides an opportunity for students to gain valuable insight into the practice of law in a global and diverse law firm. ### Benefits of the 1L Diversity Fellowship The 1L Diversity Fellowship provides: * Participation in all aspects of the ten-week Summer Program in Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Silicon Valley or Washington, DC, including the Launch Your Career Program in New York. * Training sessions, ongoing mentorship opportunities, networking with lawyers and social events. * Valuable insight into what it means to practice law simply by working with and observing our lawyers. * Timely and meaningful feedback regarding work over the course of the summer. * A successful fellow will be invited to return to the Firm for the following summer. * A Diversity Fellowship salary of $4,150 per week. ### Eligibility The application process is open to all law students enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school, regardless of race, color, religion, citizenship, national origin, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, military service, disability, or any other characteristic or condition protected by applicable law. ### Application Process Applicants must submit the following materials online at : * Cover letter * Résumé * Undergraduate transcript * First-year law school transcript (when available) * A 500-word personal statement that indicates your interest in joining a global practice, as well as your commitment to enhancing our diverse culture at the Firm Applications will be accepted from 1L students on December 1 and will be considered on a rolling basis through January.
