Law Firm is seeking an experienced Associate to join its Finance and Real Estate (FRE) Group. The ideal candidate should possess legal experience in the Co-op/Condo, Commercial, Construction, Bankruptcy and/or Distressed Assets areas. Associates have an exciting opportunity to learn from and work closely with energetic, highly experienced legal practitioners in a friendly, cooperative environment.

Job Description:

Simultaneously handle the high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters at different stages of progression, from inception to conclusion
Possess strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills for communicating with attorneys and clients
Demonstrate an ability to work independently and productively and show a strong interest in advancing a career in FRE
Produce quality legal work and bill the required amounts of hours to ensure excellent client services
Manage business and generate business through group and individual efforts
Comply with the very highest ethical standards of the legal profession

Qualifications:


Licensed to practice law in good standing in one or more jurisdictions where the Firm conducts business; must maintain applicable license renewal and CLE requirements
2 years’ experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm
3-8 years’ experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm

Supervisory Responsibilities: Indirect - actively utilizes support staff or junior associates to ensure client satisfaction.

Physical Activity: The employee will be required to sit (or utilize a standing desk) for prolonged periods and work on a computer.

Travel Required: Less than 10%.

Salary Range: $195,000-$250,000
