Law Firm is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Private Equity Associate to join their Philadelphia office. The successful candidate will work closely with the Private Equity team in New York, representing middle market and lower middle market private equity funds, family offices and independent sponsors in their investment strategies.

The ideal candidate should have:

Law firm experience with private equity transactions and interacting directly with clients.
An undergraduate degree in business.
Been licensed to practice since 2020 or earlier.
Excellent law school and undergraduate credentials and references.
Excel in a team environment.
Demonstrate a keen interest in developing and implementing relationship building skills both internally and externally.
Experiences that prepare them to work with attorneys, staff and clients from cultures and backgrounds different from their own.
High motivation and a self-starter.
Strong business acumen.
Flexibility and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent written and oral communication, as well as analytical skills.

The successful candidate will receive training opportunities with growing levels of responsibility, gain experience as responsible attorney on M&A transactions, collaborate across practice groups and across offices, have opportunities for advancement in a collegial environment, and work in a small office atmosphere with the resources of an AM Law 200 firm. They will also engage in business development activities.
