As a Litigation Paralegal, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the best legal minds in the industry and gain valuable experience in all phases of the litigation process. Responsibilities of a Litigation Paralegal As a Litigation Paralegal at Kean Miller, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys throughout the entire litigation process. Your duties will include: • Assisting with all phases of litigation, from case inception to resolution or trial • Preparing court filings and assembling exhibits • Drafting and responding to discovery demands • Supporting depositions, hearings, and mediations • Reviewing and summarizing depositions and medical records • Maintaining case dockets and calendars • Assisting with document collections, reviews, and productions • Coordinating electronic discovery Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following qualifications and skills: • Bachelor’s or Associates degree • Paralegal Certificate from an ABA approved school (preferred) • 3-5 years of prior paralegal experience • Comprehensive knowledge of the litigation lifecycle • Technical proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Personal Attributes In addition to the necessary qualifications and skills, we are looking for someone who exhibits the following personal attributes: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills • Strong technical skills • Ability to multitask and manage a variety of demands • Analytical and problem-solving abilities • Positive attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed What We Offer At Kean Miller, we value our employees and strive to provide a positive work environment and competitive benefits package.
