Job Title: Paralegal

Salary: Competitive salary based on experience

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a law firm setting

Job Description:

- Assist attorneys with all aspects of case management, including drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and preparing for trials and hearings
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional and efficient manner
- Organize and maintain case files and documents
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances
- Conduct factual investigations and gather evidence
- Prepare and file legal documents with state and federal courts
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
- Collaborate with attorneys and other paralegals to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree and completion of a paralegal program from an accredited institution
- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Manage calendars and schedule appointments
- Prepare correspondence and legal documents
- Maintain electronic and paper filing systems
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Coordinate travel arrangements and expense reports
- Assist with billing and time entry
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective operations of the firm

- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
