Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP, a full-service, international law firm with more than 600 attorneys, is seeking an experienced Trademark Associate with at least 4+ years of direct trademark experience with clearance, prosecution, and enforcement. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing . and international trademark portfolios with specific experience in . and international trademark clearance, prosecution, and investigations.

The successful candidate will have strong academic credentials, excellent legal writing and critical thinking skills, and be highly organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented. Preferred office locations include San Francisco, New York, or Washington DC. Other office base locations include: Atlanta, Denver, Los Angeles, Silicon Valley (Menlo Park), Walnut Creek, Seattle, or the option to work remotely based in approved states.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent legal writing and critical thinking skills, and be highly organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented.

## Job Responsibilities

- Manage . and international trademark portfolios
- Conduct trademark clearance, prosecution, and investigations
- Provide legal advice on trademark issues
- Prepare and file trademark applications
- Monitor trademark applications
- Prepare and file responses to Office Actions
- Monitor and enforce trademark rights
- Conduct trademark infringement investigations
- Negotiate trademark disputes
- Provide legal advice and guidance on trademark issues
- Develop strategies for protecting and enforcing trademarks
- Research and analyze trademark law
- Draft and negotiate trademark license agreements

## Qualifications

- At least 4+ years of direct trademark experience with clearance, prosecution, and enforcement
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent legal writing and critical thinking skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented
