A law firm in Miami is seeking an Immigration Partner with 8+ years of immigration experience to work closely with other partners and senior associates on employment-based and family-based immigration petitions and applications. The candidate will represent the firm's clients before USCIS, consular, and other government authorities in processing various visas, including E-2 Treaty visas, O-2 visas, and L-1 intracompany transferee visas. Strong drafting and communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, fluency in Spanish, and membership in the Florida Bar or in the process of becoming one are required. A portable book of business is also required.

 

Duties:

  • Work closely with other partners and senior associates on employment-based and family-based immigration petitions and applications.
  • Represent clients before USCIS, consular, and other government authorities in processing various visas.
  • Draft and prepare visa petitions, applications, and supporting documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage and oversee immigration cases from start to finish.
  • Provide strategic guidance and advice to clients on immigration matters.
  • Review and analyze immigration laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Meet deadlines and work effectively within time constraints.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Membership in the Florida Bar or in the process of becoming one.
  • 8+ years of immigration experience practicing in a law firm.
  • Fluent in Spanish.
  • Strong drafting and communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively within deadlines.
  • Portable book of business.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Membership in the Florida Bar or in the process of becoming one.

 

Skills:

  • Fluent in Spanish.
  • Strong drafting and communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively within deadlines.
  • Portable book of business.
