Key Responsibilities:

- Provide legal support services for multiple Medicaid states, enterprise-wide functions, and complex litigation.
- Lead support staff and serve as a seasoned resource.
- Prepare and evaluate legal documentation for transactions and corporate governance.
- Conduct legal research and analysis, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Respond to subpoenas, records requests, and inquiries from internal and external sources.
- Investigate and resolve complex cases.
- Monitor state and federal legislation and make recommendations for changes.
- Attend legal proceedings and represent the company.
- Optimize solutions and improve practices through business knowledge and technical expertise.
- Participate in projects and negotiations.
- Enter information into databases or document management systems.
- Handle Provider Contracting for Medicaid markets.

Minimum Requirements:

- Paralegal Certification or an AA/AS/BA/BS in a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of legal or related experience.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Skilled in the use of Excel.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

- Experience in Medicaid or other government programs.

- The salary range for this position is to per hour.
