# Senior Advice & Counsel Associate

We are currently seeking an Associate Attorney for the firm's Los Angeles, CA office. The salary range for this position is $234,000-$275,000. This is not inclusive of our full range, and actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

## Job Description

As a Senior Advice & Counsel Associate, you will be responsible for:

- Conducting audits of employer practices, including wage and hour policies and procedures
- Drafting and revising incentive compensation documents, including commission and bonus plans
- Drafting and revising policies, handbooks and other employee communication documents
- Explaining complex employment law issues in a way that can be understandable to a range of audiences
- Identifying various problem-solving options, including the pros and cons of each option

## Qualifications

- JD from ABA-accredited law school
- Admitted to the CA State Bar and in good standing
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local workplace and employment law a plus
- Understanding of current agency (state and federal) enforcement techniques a plus
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience conducting trainings or workplace investigations preferred, but not required
