Cooley, a global law firm with offices in the US, Europe, and Asia, is seeking a Resource Attorney to join their Boston office in the Public Companies practice area. The firm works with a diverse range of clients, from entrepreneurs to Fortune 50 corporations, on complex deals, IP and regulatory matters, and high-stakes litigation. The Resource Attorney will be responsible for supporting the Private Companies, Life Sciences Regulatory, and Digital Health practices by managing and developing practice resources, providing training and education, and staying updated on legal and regulatory developments. The ideal candidate will have experience in a US corporate/transactional practice, with a focus on private companies and a background or interest in life sciences and/or digital health. Strong drafting skills and attention to detail are required for this role.

Responsibilities:

- Drafting and managing template documents
- Developing training and educational content
- Coordinating with lawyers and other personnel for practice resources and external publications
- Monitoring legal and regulatory developments and preparing summaries and alerts
- Developing content for Cooley publications and other external-facing resources
- Assisting with individual attorney requests for resources
- Participating in new resource, knowledge management, and practice innovation and technology projects

Skills and Experience:

- JD from an accredited law school and admitted to practice in Massachusetts
- 3-5 years of experience in a US corporate/transactional practice
- Experience working with private companies, particularly in the life sciences and/or digital health industries

Salary and Benefits:

The expected annual pay range for this position is $220,000 - $350,000, with the final offer amount dependent on geographic location, experience, and skillset of the candidate.
