A law firm in Tampa, FL is seeking a Real Estate and Public Finance Associate Attorney with experience in complex commercial real estate transactions, including financing and leasing. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials, excellent writing and analytical skills, and the ability to handle sophisticated legal matters in real estate and public finance.

Duties:

  • Handle complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing.
  • Draft and negotiate transactional documents such as purchase agreements, loan documents, leases, and development agreements.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on real estate development projects and public finance matters.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews and analyze title and survey documents.
  • Assist in the preparation of bond offerings and public finance transactions.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop legal strategies and solutions.
  • Research legal issues and prepare memoranda on complex real estate and public finance matters.
  • Attend client meetings, negotiations, and closings as needed.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing of the Florida Bar.
  • 2+ years of experience practicing real estate law and public finance at a law firm or relevant legal environment.
  • Strong academic credentials with superior performance in law school.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in complex commercial real estate transactions, including financing and leasing.
  • Federal judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating real estate and financing documents.
  • Knowledge of real estate and public finance laws and regulations.
