The Paralegal (USAO) position in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced paralegal to provide technical support to Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSAs) in the Civil Division. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, and is a full-time position with up to 25% local travel required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide paralegal services to AUSAs in a wide variety of cases involving the United States or its federal agencies.
- Conduct legal research, document management, and document review.
- Assist with trial preparation and courtroom presentations.
- Organize and process large quantities of data and discovery documents.
- Prepare exhibits for trial and draft documents for filing in court.
- Work closely with other members of the case team, including attorneys, legal assistants, and case agents.

Qualifications:

- Paralegal certificate, JD, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school.
- At least one year of litigation paralegal experience, with trial experience preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic discovery tools and procedures.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database management.
