The ideal candidate must be eligible to be registered to practice before the . Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Bilingual proficiency is preferred, and Federal Court experience is a plus.
Duties:
- Draft patent applications and prosecute patents before the USPTO.
- Conduct patentability searches and provide opinions on patentability.
- Assist clients in patent portfolio management and strategy.
- Advise clients on intellectual property matters, including patent infringement and validity.
- Collaborate with inventors, engineers, and scientists to understand inventions and technologies.
- Provide legal counsel on licensing agreements, technology transfers, and IP litigation.
- Conduct due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and investments involving intellectual property.
- Stay updated on changes in patent laws and regulations.
Requirements:
