Responsibilities:

- Prepare and file cases related to collection of past due assessments for Community Association clients
- Obtain and apply Federal Acts, State Statutes, and contractual guidelines for a large volume of collection matters
- Reconcile account balances and adhere to collection authority provisions and limiting factors
- Draft communications, lawsuits, motions, and other case filings with attorneys' guidance
- Calculate account payoff values and provide information to homeowners and mortgage companies
- Create reports and documents for attorneys based on case specifications
- Build and maintain professional relationships with management companies and Community Association clients
- Develop and maintain a system to ensure deadlines are met
- Monitor changes to guidelines and regulations and communicate findings to colleagues and attorneys

Skills and Abilities:

- 1-3 years of collection experience
- Solid understanding of financial and/or accounting concepts
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to change
- Ability to prioritize and manage heavy workload
- Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
