Parker Poe is seeking a Business Litigation Senior Associate to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a close-knit team that has a national practice and appears before state and federal courts throughout the firm’s southeastern footprint.

H2: About the Role

• in internal investigations, white collar criminal defense and/or a variety of commercial disputes
• Substantiate experience in issues involving breaches of contract, fraud, trade secret misappropriate, and unfair and deceptive trade practices
• Exceptional communication skills, research and writing skills
• Handle matters both independently and as part of a litigation team

• Extensive experience representing clients before state and federal courts, governmental agencies, and national and international arbitration panels in the Southeast and around the world
• Members of our team are among:
o Less than half a percent of all American lawyers invited into the Litigation Counsel of America
o Less than 1 percent of lawyers invited into the American College of Trial Lawyers in each state
o Leading litigators in Benchmark Litigation and The Best Lawyers in America
• Handle appeals in all levels of federal and state court systems
• Skilled in resolving disputes outside the courtroom including appearing before arbitration panels of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), JAMS, International Chamber of Commerce, and the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution (CPR)
