Responsibilities:

- Manage foundational and strategic compliance responsibilities with consistent excellence
- Oversee projects, initiatives, regulatory audits or exams, internal audits, accreditations, on-site reviews, and risk assessments
- Establish project plans, gap analysis, milestone dates, and provide leadership updates
- Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and company strategies to assess impact and consult with clients as subject matter expert
- Conduct complex investigations and ensure corrective actions are made
- Interface with external clients, regulators, vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Conduct audit planning, mock audits, audit training, and manage audit evidence preparation
- Conduct regulatory change management and legal research and analysis
- Familiarity with laws governing health care and insurance industry
- Strong writing skills
- Provide updates on project plans, gap analysis, milestone dates, and other significant aspects to leadership
- Manage audit preparedness and conduct mock audits
- Interface with external clients, regulators, vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Conduct complex investigations, document findings, and ensure corrective actions are made

Minimum Requirements:

- BA/BS degree
- Minimum of 6 years of health care, regulatory, ethics, compliance, or privacy experience
- Any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

- Regulatory change management experience
- Legal training or experience researching and analyzing federal or state laws
- Familiarity with laws governing health care and insurance industry
- Strong writing skills
- MS/MBA/JD or professional designation preferred
