Litigation Paralegal The candidate should have ability to look up and comply with the Code of Civil Procedure and local court rules; Prepare, edit, and finalize drafts of correspondence, pleadings, law and motion, and discovery; Legal filing and calendaring; Setting up court calls; Data input to legal software such as CLIO; Working with outside vendors for filing and service actions, answering phones, and communicating with clients; Trial preparation. Paralegal certificate is mandatory—higher education is greatly desired; Should have 5 years of heavy litigation experience Trust and Estate Litigation experience a plus.
