The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in the field of intellectual property litigation and have either an undergraduate or graduate degree in one of the aforementioned areas.

This position is located in New York and offers a competitive salary range of $295,000 - $415,000.

Job Description:

The IP Litigation Associate will be responsible for the following:

• Assisting in the preparation of patent litigation cases.
• Reviewing and analyzing patent documents and other technical information.
• Identifying potential patent infringement and validity issues.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other documents.
• Preparing for and attending court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Assisting in the development of trial strategies.
• Assisting in the preparation of briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents.
• Researching and analyzing legal issues related to intellectual property litigation.
• Supervising and mentoring junior associates.

Job Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in the field of intellectual property litigation.
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics or life sciences (such as molecular biology or chemistry).
• Preferred but not required backgrounds: federal clerkship; patent bar.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Superior written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

## Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $295,000 - $415,000.
