The law firm of Ropers Majeski is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Associate to join our growing and dynamic litigation practice in Las Vegas, NV. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a minimum of one year of civil litigation experience to work on a variety of complex cases in the practice area of insurance defense. We offer a competitive salary range of $125,000 - $150,000, along with a generous bonus program and comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

As a Litigation Associate at Ropers Majeski, your responsibilities will include:

Managing a caseload from inception to trial, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs
Conducting legal research, analysis, and writing
Handling discovery, preparing for depositions, and managing trial preparation
Defending commercial disputes, personal injury lawsuits, and premises liability actions in State Court
Assisting with Federal Court cases (experience preferred but not required)

Skills and Educational Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-approved law school
Excellent academic credentials
Minimum of one year of general civil litigation experience
Experience in defending commercial disputes, personal injury lawsuits, and premises liability actions in State Court
Admission to the Nevada Bar in good standing
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and e-discovery platforms
Strong writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a timely and professional manner
