Overview:
The law firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our Water
Practice Group and Government Relations Practice Group. This is a full-time position that offers
the opportunity to work on a variety of cases and develop a career in private practice. The ideal
candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analyze case law, statutes, and regulations affecting clients
- Write persuasive and comprehensive legal documents
- Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, opposing counsel, and regulatory agencies
- Utilize creativity and professional judgment to handle complex problems
- Work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Manage and organize documents and respond to requests from various sources
- Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Coordinate with managing attorneys and support staff on project management

Job Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas
- 1-3 years of experience in administrative law
- Interest in private practice and water and water utility law
- Experience with Westlaw or Lexis Nexis
