Look no further! Our top law firm is seeking a skilled and dedicated associate to join our team in Detroit or Troy. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of employment related litigation matters and traditional labor cases, while receiving support and guidance from our partner-level attorneys. Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough and high-quality legal research to support cases - Assist with all aspects of discovery, including drafting requests and responses - Prepare legal briefs and other important documents - Collaborate with partner-level attorneys to determine best course of action for cases - Draft responses to EEOC and MDCR charges - Handle various tasks related to employment litigation, such as motion hearings and depositions - Prepare trial materials and assist at pretrial, trial, and post-trial proceedings Qualifications: - 2-4 years of experience in employment related litigation and client counseling - Excellent research and writing skills - Strong organizational and project management abilities - Experience in managing discovery and taking/defending depositions - Proficiency in the use of online legal research services and resources like Westlaw - Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written - Experience in traditional labor matters is a plus Education and Licensing: - Graduate of an accredited law school - Admitted to the Michigan State Bar, or eligible to promptly become admitted Salary: $80,000-$120,000/year If you meet the above qualifications and are interested in joining our team, please submit your resume to .
