A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Associate Attorney with a strong background in commercial real estate finance litigation. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience in this field or a demonstrated passion for focusing on commercial real estate finance litigation. This role requires exceptional drafting, communication, and supervisory skills, as well as the ability to work independently while overseeing teams and managing complex litigation projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee teams and lead various projects, including litigation document management, filings, and other legal assignments.
  • Draft complex motions and related processes, such as preparing ancillary filings and ensuring compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.
  • Assist with trial preparation, including conducting legal research, drafting trial briefs, and managing discovery processes effectively.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide legal counsel and support on matters related to commercial real estate finance litigation.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in Pennsylvania (Bar admission in other relevant states is a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate finance litigation or related transactions.
  • Strong commitment to and interest in practicing commercial real estate finance litigation.
  • Outstanding academic credentials.

Skills:

  • Proficient in drafting legal documents, including motions, briefs, and discovery materials.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Experience in supervising and leading teams is preferred.
  • Familiarity with bankruptcy litigation is advantageous.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Bar membership in Pennsylvania required; admission in other relevant jurisdictions preferred.
