Job Description:

Fragomen, the world's leading immigration law firm, is seeking a highly-motivated and detail-oriented Business Immigration Coordinator to join our team in Los Angeles. This position offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact on our business, as well as provide training, development, and long-term growth opportunities. Responsibilities:

- Provide administrative support to the department, including organizing, sorting, and distributing mail and scanning documents sent by foreign nationals.
- Update and manage case status, meet assigned deadlines, and communicate case progress/status/issues to supervisor.
- Organize, maintain, and file legal documents and supporting documentation.
- Prepare, collect, and organize cases for shipping process.
- Learn procedural and processing requirements for various types of non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions and applications.
- Respond to internal and external communications within the team.
- Produce work with high accuracy and proactively escalate issues to supervisor.
- Use Connect and other data management systems accurately.
- Apply new processes and best practices as directed.
- Follow documented firm standards and policies to ensure regulatory, operational, and client compliance.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, Paralegal certification, or experience in a customer-facing or client service-oriented role.
- A client service mindset, attention to detail, and desire to achieve a high level of productivity.
- Experience using various computer systems, including Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Desire to contribute to a positive work environment and promote teamwork.

The salary range for this role takes into account many factors, including skills, experience, qualifications, work location, work arrangement, licensure and certifications, and applicable laws. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top end of the range, and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors noted.

A reasonable and good-faith estimate of the current salary range for individuals able to work a hybrid schedule in the office locally is:

$38, - $50, per year
