A law firm is seeking a highly experienced Employment Law Attorney with a strong background in employment law to join their dynamic legal team in Cleveland, OH. The ideal candidate will have over seven years of dedicated experience in employment law and a proven track record of successfully handling complex legal matters in this field. This role involves providing expert legal advice, representing clients in court, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations.

Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance on employment law matters to clients.
  • Represent clients in employment-related litigation and administrative proceedings.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on employment law trends and changes.
  • Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Handle cases involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and other employment issues.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to protect clients' interests.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff on case strategies and research.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and training sessions on employment law topics.
  • Participate in mediation and settlement negotiations to resolve disputes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in employment law.
  • Proven experience in handling complex employment law cases.
  • Strong litigation skills and experience in representing clients in court.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Ohio State Bar.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Ohio State Bar is required.
  • Additional employment law or related field certifications are preferred but not required.
