Duties:

• Represent clients in a variety of legal matters, including litigation and business transactions.
• Handle legal tasks related to oil and gas, tax law, and contract disputes.
• Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, contracts, and other agreements.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients in various sectors.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to prepare for hearings, trials, and negotiations.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends.
• Participate in client meetings and assist in building client relationships.

Requirements:

• Admission to the Louisiana State Bar or eligibility to sit for the Bar exam.
• Proven experience or strong academic background in litigation, business law, or related fields.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Louisiana State Bar is preferred.

Skills:

• Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of business law, tax law, and oil and gas regulations is a plus.
• Exceptional legal research and writing abilities.
