Responsibilities
As a Legal Assistant with Aldridge Pite, you will be responsible for:
• Assisting attorneys in the representation of clients in judicial foreclosure proceedings
• Processing assigned tasks and workload according to firm procedures and client requirements
• Handling collateral document oversight for west coast teams
• Drafting legal documents and correspondence as needed
• Communicating with courts, title vendors, and other third parties
• Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and client requirements
• Coordinating and preparing files for client audits
• Maintaining team reference matrices with state, court, and client rules
• Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external clients
• Handling additional tasks and projects as needed to support foreclosure teams

Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
• High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• At least 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal
• Judicial foreclosure experience highly preferred
• Knowledge of multi-state legal and/or foreclosure processes
• Thorough knowledge of legal principles, research techniques, and terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant computer knowledge and experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work at a fast pace and multitask
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel
• Positive attitude and willingness to adapt to change
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Effective conflict, stress, and performance management
• Commitment to the firm’s vision, mission, and core values
• Ability to work well in a team and develop professional relationships with others
